Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) with Jennifer Ruid, LCSW
KAP combines the medication ketamine with therapy to help process thoughts, emotions, and trauma in a different, often more flexible mental state — which can help shift unhealthy thought patterns and support the processing of underlying emotion. Ketamine is most often used for depression, anxiety, trauma, and sometimes substance use disorders, and data suggests it can also help build resilience to stress and support grief, OCD, treatment-resistant conditions, and chronic pain.
