New Horizons Counseling is an individual private practice name for Jennifer Ruid, LCSW.  Jennifer is currently practicing at 331 Pine Street in Lewiston, Maine and at 331 Maine Street in Brunswick, Maine.

Jennifer has been practicing social work at the Lewiston location since 2008 and purchased the 331 Pine Street property in 2018 in hopes of providing a nurturing environment where experienced and respected therapists in the community may rent office space for their own private practice work. 

In 2026 Jennifer completed the Psychedelic Therapy Level 1 Certification Program with The Integrative Psychiatry Institute and the Ketamine-Assisted Therapy Training through Skylight Psychedelics. Jennifer provides Ketamine Assisted Therapy at the Brunswick location.

Jennifer has been a Social Worker in Lewiston, Maine since 1999 where she has had the privilege to work with children, adolescents and families in collaboration with schools, medical providers, and numerous support services throughout the community.  At this time Jennifer offers individual and family therapy to adolescents and adults.
